Surf Connection is honored to sponsor the Lompoc Community Education Foundation’s Walk-a-Thon again this year!

Join the Lompoc Community Education Foundation at the Lompoc Community Track and Field on Saturday, April 5th from 10AM-2PM for their walk-a-thon fundraiser!  Have fun, a little bit of exercise and help raise money to fund mini-grants for teachers and scholarships for graduating students. They have some fabulous prizes up for grabs including zoo and museum tickets, dining and shopping gift cards and certificates (one from yours truly!) for free services from local businesses. Prizes will be awarded for the most laps, most money raised, most individual sponsors, and the craziest hat!  Click link below to download a donation/pledge worksheet and we'll see you Saturday, April 5th at the Lompoc Community Track and Field!

Dr. John C Trettin 5K Memorial Run and Nature Walk

This race is to honor and Dr. John C. Trettin and the proceeds go to Scholarships in his honor for Cabrillo and Lompoc High School scholar athletes continuing on to higher education.

The race is located at the CHS Track, 4350 Constellation Road with registration beginning at 8AM and the race at 9AM. There is no pre-registration. Entry fee is $10 for adults, $8 for member of Lompoc Valley Distance Club, $5 for 18 and under and $4 for 18 and under Lompoc Valley Distance Club members.

By entering you also have an opportunity to win a gift certificate from Surf Connection!
